Alaska Rural Health Transformation Program

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act authorized the Rural Health Transformation Program and $50 billion will be allocated over 5 fiscal years to all 50 US states.

Alaska received $272,174,856 in the first year to support sustainable projects that will support the Alaskan health care system.

In Alaska we will be focusing on the following 6 initiatives:

  1. Healthy Beginnings

  2. Health Care Access

  3. Healthy Communities

  4. Pay for Value: Fiscal Sustainability

  5. Strengthen Workforce

  6. Spark Technology and Innovation

Nearly 1,800 Letters of Intent were submitted to request funds in the first round of requests. That is a lot of projects out there that need to stay on track with what is going on.
